Jewellery Making

What do I need to get started?

You can begin making bead jewellery by starting very simply with elastic bracelets. Further techniques do require a set of tools, Chain nosed pliers (Squashing), Round Nosed Pliers (for loops) and Cutters (for Cutting). We consider these to be essential for bead jewellery making.

What are Findings?

Findings are the components used to make Bead Jewellery. Usually made from metal they help secure your jewellery and add the structure.

What are Bijoux Beads Findings Made of?

All our findings are made from either a base metal of brass or a zinc alloy. All Bijoux Beads findings are EC Compliant with regards to safety levels of nickel, leads and other metals.

How often do you have New Products?

We are continually sourcing and researching for new and fashionable bead products and these can arrive at anytime throughout the year. We pride ourselves on our individuality and the quality of our items and we work hard to be different from other bead retailers.

Can we visit the Showroom?

Of course, we are open Monday to Saturday, 10.00am to 5pm. Please let us know if you need a lot of help with regard to buying beads as we are also running a boutique and may need to call in extra help so we can spend time assisting you. The showroom is also our mail order department.

Do you do repairs?

We do not undertake repairs but can advise you how best to repair and item yourself. We can offer you advice but we don’t offer this service.
